This website is a personal publication run by Imge Turan Täschner — a place to read essays and look at pictures. I have tried to keep it simple, and that extends to how it treats your data: the site is a set of static pages and collects as little as possible.

What I collect directly

Nothing. There are no accounts, no comment forms, no newsletter sign-ups, and no tracking or advertising cookies set by this site.

Hosting and server logs

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like most web hosts, Cloudflare automatically processes the technical information needed to deliver the pages to you and to keep the service secure — for example your IP address, your browser type, and the time of your request. This processing is carried out by Cloudflare as part of serving and protecting the site. You can read how Cloudflare handles this data in its own privacy policy.

Links to other places

Pages here link out to other sites — for example LinkedIn, Behance, and email. Once you follow a link you are on someone else's property, and this policy no longer applies. Please check the privacy policy of any site you visit.

Your rights

If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, data-protection law (the GDPR) gives you rights over your personal data, including the right to access it, correct it, ask for its deletion, or object to its processing. Because this site does not collect personal data directly, there is usually nothing for me to hand over — but if you have a request or a concern, email me at imgeturan@gmail.com and I will help. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data-protection authority.
